Due to the nature of our company, there's not a lot I can show when it comes to innovation, research, and development.
What I CAN show you, are example and screenshots that are publicly available. I can also speak to my roles and responsibilities during my time at Digital Guardian.
I started working at Digital Guardian in 2017
It was a quick hire. I was told DG was starting to create a new platform to replace the current, outdated, one. And they needed someone with the specific background that I had. UX and UI skills, built webapp based on Angular, very familiar with charting and graphs, specifically D3 and dc.js.
It was a perfect fit.
Since then, I've had a great time and plenty of opportunities to innovate and help steer the direction of the app and its success. Since then, our app has also become THE app to use for DLP and EDR, even according to the Gartner Magic quadrant for Enterprise DLP.
As part of the R & D group, I've been instrumental in discovering customer pain points and developing creative solutions. Our UX group is a little different than most companies. Each person in UX coordinates and participates in 5-6 cross-functional groups, attending scrums, backlog grooming, product management meetings, etc.
As Creative Lead, I also was given the task of auditing our processes and style guides. Eventually, given the task to create a unique Style Guide, spanning all products, and providing development direct insight into each element, so that have a single source of truth.
During my time here, every one of my performance evaluations have received the highest level of "Exceeds Expectations".
